Alone with her daughters, she rode a mule from Salamina to Abejorral - two villages in the department of Antioquia - and later, to Manizales. The 2019 festival is scheduled for June 22, 2019. The official attendance according to organizers was 35,000. Machaca offers food trucks with traditional Mexican food.
